Description
On the occasion of Louis Thevenet’s 150th birthday, a unique lambic blend was made by Kloris and Bart Devillé from the Den Herberg brewery in collaboration with Den Ast and Villa Servais. The subtly woven minerality of this Oude Geuze forms the canvas on which the depth of the composition is built, while the complexity of the gueuze, through old red and white wine barrels like masterful paint strokes, reveals a rich and varied palette of aromas and flavours. Six different labels were designed, each with a different painting by Thevenet. Part of the proceeds will go to the crowdfunding campaign for the art book celebrating 150 years of Thevenet.
