Description
For this exceptional Akevitt Lambic, 3 Fonteinen blended traditional lambics matured in three aquavit barrels. These barrels had previously held PX sherry for more than fifty years and aquavit for over ten years. They come from Atlungstad, Norway’s oldest distillery still in operation. The barrels were filled for more than 13 months with two-year-old 3 Fonteinen lambic. At bottling, the weighted average age of this lambic blend exceeded 33 months. All grains used for brewing were sourced from farmers in the Pajottenland region. 100% 3 Fonteinen.
