Description
Kestemont Sterke (Strong) Oude Geuze is the powerful counterpart to Kestemont’s classic Oude Geuze. With an alcohol content above 8%, this beer offers extra intensity and character. The lambic is brewed according to the same recipe, but with less water, resulting in a higher concentration of fermentable sugars. The blend combines one-, two- and four-year-old lambic, all matured in French wine barrels. After ten months of bottle refermentation, it reveals an elegant balance with a touch more roundness thanks to the higher alcohol content.
Attention: this geuze is very lively and eager to escape the bottle. Chill well and pour immediately after uncorking.
